WESSEX Hydraulic Log Splitters are available in a wide variety of types and specifications: horizontal or vertical beams 
in both tractor mounted or self-powered versions - there is sure to be a machine to suit your particular application. All 
models are fitted with 2 hands control to suit the latest HSE requirements. The engine driven models are self - contained 
units, and can be used anywhere without relying on any other power source.

The compact self-powered vertical machines are powered by an electric motor or a petrol engine. Their compact design 
and manoeuvrability lend them to domestic users, and the hire trade.

The horizontal self powered machines can be towed from site to site. They are ideal for farmers and private estate owners. 
One advantage of the horizontal machines is that large logs can easily be rolled onto the splitting platform.

The tractor mounted models are the most economical, and if you have a tractor available, we strongly recommend that 
you utilise its hydraulic power source. For compact tractors, there is a pto driven hydraulic power pack available.

The tractor mounted vertical machines allow the operator to stand in an upright position. Long logs can be stood on the 
footplate, whilst the removable platform allows shorter logs to be split at waist height.
